The Altar Atelye
The Altar Atelye makes handmade spirit vessels, altar boxes, altar cloths, and offerings, each gathered and adorned for a purpose or left open for the buyer’s own practice, and ships within the United States. We built a bespoke site that gives the collection its own visual identity and connects product discovery, custom commission requests, studio publishing, and customer stories. The current release is a first look; online checkout is not yet open.

Design around the work
The site treats each vessel as an individual object rather than a generic store item. Product photography, expressive serif typography, botanical artwork, and restrained animated accents create an identity specific to the maker.
The homepage leads into the collection, custom work, and the studio journal, giving visitors clear paths to explore the products and the process behind them.
A catalogue, not a template
The Apothecary is organised the way the maker works: spirit bottles, portable altar boxes, hand-dyed altar cloths, beaded and mirrored glasses and altar pieces, and offering bundles for starting an altar. Each piece carries photographs, its intention, price, and availability, and visitors can filter prepared and unprepared pieces.
Product and inventory management sit behind a studio login. The current collection is presented as a first-look draft, with availability and pricing to be confirmed by the maker before checkout opens.
Guided custom commissions
A step-by-step quote request gathers intention, vessel, adornment, practice, and contact details before a final review. It turns an open-ended request into a structured brief the maker can review and discuss.
Commission requests lead to a conversation and a quote, rather than an automatic purchase of a one-of-a-kind piece.
Publishing from the studio
The Grimoire provides a managed journal for studio updates, process photographs, and video notes. The maker can publish through the studio tools instead of asking for a site edit each time there is something new to share.
A Guestbook gathers stories from people who have welcomed a vessel into their lives, and a Maker page holds space for her own story. Checkout, mailing-list signups, and public guestbook submissions remain later-phase work, not features claimed as live in this release.
